The last week of January shows that many people are buying and moving into a new home, as lenders try to get properties off their books before the new month. The average home sale has increased for 2012, and buyers are willing to pay more for a home with their low interest rates. A housing recovery is in the works, but Hollister still has a long road to recovery.
A huge bulk of our industry lies within the $200,000-$300,000 price range, but Hollister, Tres Pinos, and San Juan Bautista have many ranch and land opportunities in a slightly higher price range. Families are able to purchase a million dollar home at almost half the cost. Hollister is a smaller and personable community that offers support through many sport programs, family groups, and an opportunity for growth.
