Weekly Real Estate Market Watch December 27-January 3, 2012

San Benito County Market Watch December 27-January 3, 2012

The real estate market in San Benito County has been pretty busy over the 2012 New Year holiday weekend with lots of home being taken off the market.  Buyers wasted no time after Christmas to start shopping for homes because they know homes cannot stay available forever in the Bay Area investment market.  Interest rates are still remaining at low 4.25% depending on points, programs, and other terms.

Some final Hollister, CA real estate statistics from 2011 are:

Cheapest home $60,000

Most expensive $915,000

Average sales price $294,000

Do you know anyone who is looking to sell their home?  If they have to make a move within the next year, now is the time before another REO flood.  As a CDPE Realtor, I can help sellers with financial hardships find relief with a short sale or other foreclosure alternatives.  The help is free until a home is SOLD, so just ask 831.635.6719.
